MAC’s Blue Brown pigment

Lots of companies seem to put out an eyeshadow shade with a brown base and a blue or green iridescent shimmer; but not all of them have this amount of color payoff when the color's applied dry. Some of them also seem to put the iridescence over a lighter brown base, for whatever reason. This pigment is part of MAC's regular line, so you can find it any time; and it looks good either wet or dry. The turquoise is just a lot more prominent when applied wet. Dry, you get a good solid brown with a little of the turquoise. (Also, for whatever reason or series of reasons, this color filled one of my 10-gram jars and I still had about 1/3 left in the pigment vial. I don't know if that's because MAC is putting more in the vials lately, or if it's because this particular vial just had more product in it. Not all of the MAC pigments I've purchased have given me quite this much stuff left over.)

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
