MAC’s Dark Envy fluidliner

When this was announced, there was some speculation that it might be similar to Siahi. Turns out Midnight Blues is a near-exact match to Siahi, while Dark Envy is like a blackened version of Ivy (thanks to <a href=“http://karlasugar.net/2011/08/mac-me-over-new-black/mac-fluidline-comparison-ivy-siahi-midnight-blues-dark-envy/” target=“_blank”>Karlasugar</a> for excellent comparison-swatches.) I purchased a backup of this one right off the bat, and I'm glad I did! It went pretty quickly.

Dark Envy is a deep blackened green with a slight metallic finish. I had some very slight issues getting it to apply evenly, but I think that was just me, not the product. It's fairly soft in the pot, a little firmer than some of the other fluidliners that I have, but not very much so. I am so glad I got this before it was out of stock!
