MAC’s Rich Gold pigment

I didn't use this one for the longest time. It was VERY clumpy, and it smelled odd. (Lots of other people noticed this, too.) I got this in 2011, and set it aside…for nearly three years. When I finally swatched it, the pigment was still clumpy as heck, and the odd smell was there, but it wasn't any worse than it had been. It also didn't itch or burn when I swatched it on my bare arm and left it there for an hour (just to see what it would do.)

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
