I chose to get this palette because, in the photos (from the vendor and from other users), the overall color story looked interesting. Some deeper colors, a good array of medium and lighter shades, mostly warmer shades with a nice mix of cooler tones as accents or visual counterbalances. The finishes are a mix, as well - ten shimmers and eight mattes. All of the shades swatch well, with no problematic children in the palette. My favorite shades are Own, Greatest, Warrior, and Advantage.

My one gripe about this palette is probably going to apply to all of the Forever Flawless palettes: the palette that holds the pans is plastic, but it’s textured plastic. That means that it gets messy easily, and it isn’t as simple to clean. One can’t just run one’s fingertip along the plastic to pick up the color that escaped the pan. On the upside, these eyeshadows all actually have names, not just numbers. The names are printed on that same textured-plastic just below the shadows, so it’s not a thing that could be lost out of the palette (like the thin plastic sheet that’s in some other palettes.)
