Makeup Revolution’s Regeneration Bronze Age palette

I was initially interested in this palette because it looked like it had two richer deeper cool shades, some coppery-bronze shadows, and some lovely reds and maroons. I wasn’t too sure about the marbled shadows, but was willing to try them out. (I thought that the marbling was only on the surface, so after maybe a handful of uses that marbling would be gone leaving a pan of the base shade. I was right about those.) The black shades both show up decently, and while they’re very close, one is a slightly warn deep charcoal while the other is a cooler black.

The entire Bronze Age palette. The left side of the palette: Ore, Iron Clad, Molten, Lead, Mineral, Rock, Melt, Wield, and Plated. Three eyeshadows, swatched: Ore, Iron Clad, and Molten. Three eyeshadows, swatched: Lead, Mineral, and Rock. Three eyeshadows, swatched: Melt, Weld, and Plated. The right side of the palette: Wrecked, Errupt, Lava, Core, Land, Plate, Vanish, Chill, and Furnace. Three eyeshadows, swatched: Wrecked, Errupt, and Lava. Three eyeshadows, swatched: Core, Land, and Plate. Three eyeshadows, swatched: Varnish, Chill, and Furnace.

My primary issue with this palette is that many of the eyeshadows are formulated such that they don’t apply well with a brush, but look great when applied by fingertip - and doing so leaves a great big dent in the pan. To me, this means a greater likelihood that those colors will dry out, become even harder to work with, or possibly become a bacteria-haven.
