This is one of the first blush palettes that I bought from Makeup Revolution. (The first was one of their Iconic Trios.) While the colors look interesting in the pan, they all apply very…soft. Two of the colors are a little richer, and the gold shimmer definitely makes them more visible; but still, these all work better on fair to light skintones. They don’t build too easily, either. They work for me, but even I find some of them a little too light for my preferences. I swatched them pretty heavily, to better showcase the shades and finishes. The blushes are also a bit dry and powdery, which doesn’t help with application or layering.
