Maybelline’s Blue Paradise Color Tattoo cream shadow

Not really a duotone, more like the slightly multicolored blue you see on interface colors. A bit like the sun over fish scales or reflecting off the surface of the water.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeliner tube or pencil barrel; top right, the eyeliner applied over bare skin, to better show the shade and properties; and below, the eyeliner applied on the eyelid at the lash line.

I don't know if you could intensify the color, or make it into an effects top coat, by applying it over a dark or black primer or dry creme shadow…but that seems like a lot of work when you could either have a subtler interference-blue, or get the intensified effects more easily using interference-blue mica and a dark base. Using creme-on-creme, with these Color Tattoos' propensity to need more careful application, you could smear the base beneath.
