Maybelline’s Color Sensational lipstick in Pearly Pink (720)

Very soft, not necessarily sheer…but it's such a soft pink, I have a difficult time telling if it's semisheer or not. The finish looks to be halfway between a pearl and a frost (smooth reflective versus slightly roughened reflective). When I tried adding multiple layers, it seemed to really highlight any wrinkles in my lips. If you want definite color, then this pink may be too soft for you. But if you're looking for a roughened pearl with a pale pink tint, and you only intend to use one coat…then this would probably work well.

I bought a few of the Colorsensational Pearls lip colors, and I noticed that they all tended to apply lighter than I thought they might. I don't know if that was partially due to the pearl finish, or if it was an overall formula trait. The entire Pearls line has been discontinued, though.
