I had a heck of a time getting these Color Tattoos! The local stores around me have pretty much stopped carrying the limited-edtion Color Tattoos at all, except…the collections will pop up at this drugstore, or that one. Never the same one twice in a row. Never part of the same chain. I don't know if Maybelline has figured out that people will just wait until they hit the Dollar Tree stores, or if people have built up a healthy collection and don't need to go and grab every new one that comes along.

At any rate, this is a slightly muted periwinkle-ish blue. It can be applied thick enough to give you a definite blue coloring, or light enough that it's almost an “effects” layer.

All of the Color Tattoos from the Spring 2015 Rebel Bloom collection were all a bit uneven-looking on the top. I don't know if that's because of these colors, or the formula, or the batch. It didn't seem to affect the product, though. It just looked either mildly unsightly or vaguely unsettling (depending on how careful one is with cosmetics that don't look 100% smooth, sanitary, and pure.)
