Meow Cosmetics’ Champagne

When viewing this color in the pot, there are no clues to its actual appearance. When it's applied - whether stipped, patted or swept - it's a brick-color with gold shimmer. When I first swatched this, I stopped, thoroughly cleaned the brush, tried it again, went and got a completely brand new brush (one of my IMATS purchases) swatched it for a third time…and concluded, nope, it's not me, this is what the color really looks like.

The brick-red is a bit softened, and has a faint cream-gold shimmer dusted over it. Looking at the color very closely in the pot, you do see some specks of the brick red, but the champagne-gold shimmer is the most visible element. I like how this color looks applied dry, with a more prominent gold quasi-metallic finish and a much-softened red-gold beneath it. Foiled, the red-gold is far more prominent. For folks who love deep gold and copper shades, this will be a great addition to their collection.
