Almost an antiqued gold, with hints of green and a roughened shimmer finish. The pigmentation is excellent. The only issue I have with this eyeshadow is that it doesn't look markedly different when applied wet versus dry, so if you generally amp up colors by foiling them, this color is already amped up. I'm not sure how it would be softened, except perhaps by applying it very lightly with a fiber-optic brush. I would like to see how this looks dusted over a pure black versus a pure white base - whether that's a nice extra versatility and it can be used as an effects top-color, or whether that would just make the application look patchy or washed out. I have used this as an accent color, and it looks interesting as a liner-accent, but it doesn't have enough depth for me to use it as a crease color because it overpowers lighter colors, but lacks enough visual depth to be a crease-color alongside other dark or bold shades.
The collection isn't available until next autumn - so if you're interested in owning this shade, you'll get another chance to purchase it in about nine months. I like colors like this a bit more than shades like Fyrinnae's Book of the Dead or Shenanigans, because there's more gold in this than brown or blackening. Ironically, the other two eyeshadows look better with my coloring!
