This purple is dark enough that I don't know if it can be worn with lighter colors. It will overwhelm them! It isn't intense, it isn't bright, it's deep dark purple. It's swallow-your-soul purple. It takes no prisoners. Wet or dry application doesn't make much difference. Well, some. But not enough that you can wear this with pale shades if you only apply it dry. Even dry, this is an incredibly dark midnight-violet. Meow's Morose is similar, but it's still not quite dark enough.

Application is very smooth, coverage is even. The color tends to want to stay on my skin when I remove it, so be sure and use a primer with this one.
