This deep green has interesting aqua highlights and reddish undertones…but you have to pay a bit more attention to what colors you wear it with. Even using clear softer shades - not pastels, not greyed colors - which usually look excellent with jeweltones, you have to watch to make sure that the undertones aren't too yellow.

The shade is deep enough to work really well as a liner, but not so deep that it won't easily work as an all-over shade (even if you're generally a fan of neutrals or ‘office appropriate' makeup.)

I like the aqua-blue shimmer on top of the green, in this one. I love a good rich deep green, but I love seeing how various companies change things up! When this set came out I was initially worried that this might be too similar to other colors Meow has in their range. Once I got the sample and swatched the color, I was fairly sure that I didn't have something else exactly the same lurking in the depths of my collection. (Definitely not with this level of color payoff!!)
