When I saw the photos of the Ghost Stories collection, I thought this would be the one I was least interested in. Once I swatched all three…it became my favorite item from this collection. The silver-white color initially looks a bit odd; but when you apply it to your arm (or cheeks, or eyelids) most of the white is nearly transparent. Instead, you get a silver-pink iridescent shimmer, a bit similar to MAC's Vanilla pigment.
I can see this working as a cheek highlight, a brow highlight, even possibly on the lips. I'd have to foil it to get the silver to show up as an eye color, though…but that could produce some very interesting wetlining effects!</p>
I was a little put off by the fact that these products were only available in 5 and 10 gram jars, not 20 gram jars like Meow's other glow powders and blushes. I ended up buying three 10-gram jars. I'm fairly sure that Meow will re-release this collection next November…but I can also see myself finding lots of uses for this in the meantime!! (Not enough to use it all up…but I've noticed that if I only have a sample or a 3-gram jar of a color, I'll be much less inclined to experiment with it unless I know I can replace it fairly easily.)
