These are described as sheer and luminous, and they truly are - so if you’re looking for highlighter shades, or accent shades to pair with a deeper, darker color, these work well. These colors perform similarly to the Glacier Grove collection, released last December. The finishes are shimmers and frosts - no hardcore sparkles, no mattes or “satins”. The manufacturer suggests that these be worn in pairs for a tonal look: Dasher & Dancer, Prancer & Vixen, Comet & Cupid, Donner & Blitzen. (I personally would swap the middle two pairings so that you wear Dasher with Dancer, Prancer with Comet, Cupid with Vixen, and Donner with Blitzen.)
About half of these shades are duochromes. Prancer, Comet, Donner, and Blitzen had some very nice flashes of secondary color, even when applied dry over primer.

My personal picks from this collection are Prancer, Donner, Blitzen, Comet, and Cupid. All of the colors apply well, and are lovely; but Dasher and Dancer are too bright-orange to really attract my attention; I have quite enough purples - even lavenders - to want to buy Vixen; and Rudolph is pretty, but I have lots of reds - including some that are similar-ish to this one.
