There’s a very faint shimmer to this color…which isn’t actually unusual for Meow’s eyeliners. Quite a few of their Feliners are shimmer-finish. Typhoon is an incredibly vivid blue that I use more as an accent shade than as an eyeliner. I know that plenty of other people will use this as an eyeliner, though, and it will look spectacular. (I prefer deeper blues, or greyed blues, for lining. Not shades this bright and intense.) The brightness of this shade works for me, just not as a liner.
I do like how the color doesn’t fade after just a few minutes, or look really vivid in the pot but less so when applied. I think that there are more sedate versions of this blue in other Meow collections, that would be more easily wearable especially in autumn - I’m going to have to do an exhaustive comparison to find them, though. I know that Sardonic, from the Shattered Equinox, is an intense but darker blue.
