Meow Cosmetics’ White Squall

Muted metallic storm-cloud slate with, unfortunately, not the very smoothest application ever. If you stipple this in place, or mix it in some kind of liquid for thin-line application, you may be happier with the results than if you sweep it on. It can work as a highlighter in some cases, but better on deeper skintones or at the edge of a deeper shade on a smokey eye. (On my eye, when used as a highlighter, it kind of looks like a fading bruise or a smudge of misplaced eyeshadow.) I have used this on the inner corner of my lid, with several other blues and greys in a shimmery ombre design.

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
