Meow Cosmetics’ Whitehaven

Just slightly cool, this white looks like…oh, like cement in the shade. It isn't the grey-white of cement, it's just a bit cooler than that. There's a very faint shimmer to this - almost like a softer version of the softened-metallic finish that most of the other Castaway shades have. The coverage is excellent, no thinner spots. I had to use a fiber-optic brush to get this color to work as a highlighter, to get the application soft enough and the amount of product on the brush small enough - but it really is more of a grey than a white. Possibly it might work as a true highlighter on people with deeper skintones and ashy undertones. It is nice to have another grey that's pigmented enough to use easily, without having to layer it nigh until infinity.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
