I received my Pure Luxe order yesterday! It contained my PL benefit colors, plus the regular colors that I'd ordered. I got fullsize (10-gram) jars of Promiscuous (sp?) and Shameless - an appropriate enough combination - and the fullsize jar of Serenity. Now I just have to get my “disposable” jars of Blue Moon and Sun Goddess (to combine to create the color Blue Sun) and I'll be set for my next “high concept” look. (Snert…high concept…more like ‘exceedingly geeked out', but whatever!)

After wearing Del Sol's Sun Kissed for two days, I decided to try one of my other colors. Spike goes on a nice seafoam-blue with a silvery shine. The colorchange happens interestingly: the evening sun was enough to change the color, but instead of the orchid-purple, I got an iced-mauve that looked very pretty. (And now I kind of wish I had *that* color…!) I am polish-less today, because after three days I was starting to see tip-wear. I also had to trim my nails - the longer ones were starting to interfere with the keyboarding. I did wear the polish to my first doctor's appointment with the new GP, though, and she didn't kick me out, so that's positive. Now I'm trying to decide if I should apply a colorchanging polish for tonight's board meeting, or just go grab one of my tame duochromes and wear that as long as I can? (I've got two event-staffing shifts this weekend, and they're pretty strict about things like nail polish.)

I've been working on a spreadsheet of all the BE kits I have so that I can put them up on the site. I wanted to get release dates for the kits, including some of the kits whose component parts I acquired from EvilBay (and which were sold, in kit-form, before I began buying BE much less collecting it.) Folks on the various fora were fairly helpful…except for one of them. The forum admin “hid” my post and PM'ed me saying, “If you're going to put this information on another forum why don't you go ask the folks over there to help you?” (This particular forum has been the site of some traumadrama in the past six months, and in fact its wobbling led to the creation of this site.) Once I told this person that I wanted it for my own site's content they “unhid” my post and replied with the one bit of information that they had. Wow, but I just love feeling like a fucking thief for one tiny nearly meaningless morsel of information. So just to make their worst fears come true, once I finish compiling all this information, I'll go ahead and make whatever I've found available to everyone. Since I used the freely-available spreadsheet from a different BE fan forum as a “base”, I'll send my collected information to them, too. As the second forum is kind of a “rival”, of sorts (more like “carefully negotiated detente”) of the first forum, I'll be more than glad to pour gasoline on these particular troubled waters and set them ablaze. They seemed sooooo scared that I was going to use the information for some nefarious purpose. Well, I'm giving it away to everyone. Just not to you folks.

And now, I'm off to get lunch. I've worked up a decent mad, and that always makes me a mite peckish.
