These were in drug stores in early March 2020. The Covid-19 pandemic was picking up speed, and people in my area hadn’t yet cleared the shelves of antiseptic wipes. (That came next week.) These are very different from other Milani highlighters I’ve picked up. For one, they’re glitterbombs. These aren’t smoother highlighters that give you a gentle glow (or can be layered to give you a really strong highlight.) You either get sparsely applied glitter, or densely applied glitter. For another, I don’t see much duochrome colorshift even when I swatch these heavily. I see minute flecks of blue/green/pink reflects, but they aren’t strong enough to actually provide a duochrome effect.

I did pick up one of each, because on occasion, one simply needs glitter. I think that it will take me the rest of my life to pan any one of these, though, because while I do like glitter, I don’t see it becoming part of my daily routine. These remind me of NYX Cosmetics’ Holographic Halo highlighter sticks, in that what one sees is mostly glitter. Since these are a typical pan, though, I feel like I have a bit more control over how much glitter I pick up.
