Missha’s Mascure Rescue Solution Sheet Mask - Madecassoside

Another heavier-duty sheet mask from Missha. This one is part of the Mascure (mask-cure, see what they did there) sub-collection, each with a focus on one ingredient to help with this or that skin concern. Madecassoside helps soothe skin to minimize redness or texture (scaling), and the vendor site mentions this as being particularly helpful to sensitive and dry skin. I have slight rosacea, and I didn't necessarily notice it flaring up less frequently during the six sequential weeks that I used this face mask. I didn't have any particularly visible flare-ups that couldn't be covered with my anti-redness primer, so possibly it was having an effect...or possibly not. I think that either it requires daily use for the madecassoside to be able to take effect, OR it requires more active redness than I have.

This group of sheet masks are thicker and have a bit more of the product in them, so prepare for drippage. The mask itself is also thicker than the Airy Fit, so it's less prone to folding or bunching up (or stubbornly sticking together when you first try to open it.) The entire sheet mask is about the size of a large salad plate, and I actually had a little bit of the face mask lapping the edges / roots of my hairline.
