Mon Ennui’s Betta Test

I need to be careful about how I wear this one. The purple sheers out quite a bit, and the blue interference shimmer is pretty strong whether the color is applied wet or dry. It almost acts like one of the Interplanetary Traveller micas, because of that very definite shift between faded violet and reflective turquoise-blue-green.

The color isn't semisheer, not at all - just don't expect to have the depth of payoff that the shadow suggests when you're looking at it! This does make a great spring-transitional shade, especially for days when there's a bit more rain than sun.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
