This does look more like it's leaning toward magenta in real life, than it does in these photos….but it's EXTREMELY borderline. It isn't quite a duochrome nor even a duotone; but the color is such that it shifts more pink or more purple depending on the colors around it. The photo showed the color having a yellow shift to it - I suspect that only happens when the light hits it at certain angles. Also, possibly only certain colors of lights. My daybulbs didn't show me any yellow flash to this color at all.
