Mon Ennui’s Redrum

After seeing a few raves about duochrome colors over at Mon Ennui, I placed an order. Then, not a week later, the owner was…a bit of a cow to another MMU vendor. So I was glad that a) these colors are nice, but not all are dreadfully unique; and b) they come in 10-gram jars, so I got my “traditional” full amount without having to either order multiples, or place a second order.

Redrum is a deep red shimmer - something that has come from several vendors, in different variations (different finish, slightly warmer or cooler base shade.) Coverage is even, and the color payoff is decent. Of the four similar colors in my collection, three are still available for purchase from their respective vendors.

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
