This is almost a metallic indigo-violet. There's no blackening, not even any dark undertones. The color was a little bit difficult to apply smoothly, either wet or dry - I got some thin patches either way. That was a bit frustrating. It also doesn't seem to layer very well, unless you want to go to the trouble and effort of primer-shadow-sealant-shadow-sealant…which kind of negates any ability to blend the shadow into anything else. It's an attractive enough shade, minus any of the colorchanging that was hinted at on the vendor web site; it's just not something I'd necessarily buy again.
