Must Have Colors: The She Space

This could be a little bit of a challenge because the bulk of TSS' products are out in limited-edition format only! I'll try and note whether a color is permanent, or LE. Hopefully the LE "must haves" will be brought back as part of Heather's Client Faves, so that others get a chance at them.

Brown: Touched By Truth (light) and Lives for Passion (dark)

And right off the bat I'm ignoring my guideline about only listing permanent colors as must-haves. Lives for Passion was part of the Ho Ho Holiday 2008 collection, and is a rich dark brown shimmer. Honorable mention, even though they were both limited edition: Define Beauty and Beyond Skin Deep. These two neutral taupe sheens are amazing colors. Define Beauty is the cooler of the two, though they really are both very, very close - same base, different twinkle additives. These two colors are periodically re-released as part of the Client Faves.

Red/Pink: Girl Genius (light) and Halos and Horns (dark)

Both of these colors are part of the permanent line. Girl Genius is a soft pink pearl, not too bright but not so soft as to vanish. Halos and Horns is a rich blue-red shimmer. (My definite must-have red is Vampires Tap Dancing...but that was part of the limited-edition Storypeople collection and while I love it to bits, I'm not going to count in its being brought back as a Client Fave.)

Orange/Peach: Powder Burn (light) and Packin' Heat (dark)

Heather has some other oranges in her line that I like; but let's face it: Fire and Brimstone, a bright vivid citrus-orange, is just not for everybody. Powder Burn is a beautiful apricot shimmer that looks lovely as an eye color, a lip color, even a "radiance" (to steal a big-name brand's terminology.) Packin' Heat is a cool bronze sparkle that looks good on its own or as a contour shade.

Yellow: Moonlight and Miracles (light) and Surfing the Nile (dark)

Moonlight and Miracles is a soft yellow shimmer - similar to Bare Escentuals' Firelight, without the latter's opalescent effects. Surfing the Nile is a richer, soft golden pearl. Both are fairly neutral yellows, so should look good on just about any complexion.

Green: Divine Imagination (light) and Moral Enemy (dark)

Blue: Mesh and Lace (light) and Far Too Fabulous (dark)

Mesh and Lace is the glamorous cousin of Cocktails in Camelot: an icy periwinkle-blue with blue and white shimmer. Far Too Fabulous is a deeper, richer blue sparkle.

Purple: Just Because (light) and Save The Trolls (dark)

Black/White: Crisp White Shirt (light) and Dark Secret (dark)

And now...the real "must have"s (including LE shades)

In no particular order, my limited-edition must-haves from TSS are:

I've managed to identify dupes or near-dupes for almost all of those colors. Define Beauty was the biggest, most gratifying surprise dupe. The others are good substitutes...but if you ever see the chance to get these exact colors from TSS, act fast!!
