My 2015 Secret Santa gift from Christina

This year I participated in the Secret Santa run by Beauty is Perfection. I agreed to mail internationally, and was matched with Christina (owner of Lifestyle Counter) from Greece. Christine sent along very lovely Korres skincare items: the Wild Rose set, and a bottle of 3-in-1 cleansing emulsion. I have a skincare routine that currently works, but have always been a bit curious about Korres skincare - but I know how relatively little I know about skincare products (compared to makeup) and how I don't feel like I know how to evaluate what will and won't work for my skin...so I tend to be very, very cautious about trying out new skincare, especially international or pricier North American brands. This lovely gift will give me the chance to try out Korres and see how it works for me!

I bought and sent a gift for Christine, but even though I had everything assembled and ready to go shortly after Thanksgiving, I didn't actually send it until just before Christmas. (I had what might politely be termed as a Very Bad Winter. More on that in another post.) The secret santa matching was pretty nicely done, in that you weren't just looking at the person's site to try and determine what might be nice to get for them - each person listed three likes and dislikes, to help guide their exchange partner to both get a type of gift that they'd like, but also to steer clear of accidentally getting any type of gift that would not be as appreciated. (Great for folks who really don't want more bath products, or cannot use scented products, or who cannot use a certain brand or products that contain certain ingredients.)
