The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.
The color is a lovely periwinkle blue. I can't decide if it's a frost or a metallic finish - a frost, I think, based on the swatches - and while the duochrome isn't as strong as I'd hoped, there is a slight duochrome effect and a flash of blue (and sort of silver.) My mom's favorite color is periwinkle, and I love duochromes, so I wanted to see a combination of the two. I compared the duochrome effect I wanted to the effect found in the Pure Luxe Kaleidescope colors, which - to my uneducated eye - look like they use the various TKB Interplanetary Micas over a pastel-colored base color. I don't know if that's what was used, but the periwinkle color is gorgeous, and there is that slight flash. Here's the color on my lids - foiled on the outer lid, dry on the inner lid. The name comes from the online handle I've been using since 1993.
The flash seems to be most visible when the color is applied wet, which is about the same way the Kaleidescope colors behave. The flash of color is a bit visible when Laughing Muse is applied dry over a still-damp pigment, but wet application makes that effect a bit more apparent.
The color isn't available for purchase just yet, and I'm not sure when it will be...but I'm guessing that some more of the Angel colors will be mixed up and readied before they go on sale. There will be over 50 colors in this particular collection, and I've seen mentions around the web that this particular benefit will be re-opened up for folks who missed out the first time around. Keep watching the vendor's site and blog for more details, and check out the other Angel colors. I'm also guessing that eventually these colors will also be included in the weekly-sales, going for $6 a jar instead of $8 (or maybe not, could go either way.)
