I'm in some beauty-blog networks, and they both get posted Friday late. I'm going to post my own “link roundup” of places that I've visited on Tuesdays - spreading things out a little bit. I won't be posting the same blogs every week, and if I post one blog multiple times in a row, that's just my magpie-mind saying, “Oooh, look, I found something interesting there!”

• Jeanette over at The Swatchaholic is holding a giveaway - she's barely been blogging for a year, and she's got over 200 followers, so she's celebrating! (I think now that my nails are finally starting to be long enough to polish, I might try this sponged-gradient look she demonstrates. Minus the rhinestones, which would come off far too quickly.)
• Himeykitty recently launched her makeup blog, with some EoTDs and some lipstick swatch photos. I like the name - Plays with Color - it's evocative of a small kid covered in tempura paint, gleefully dotting everything within reach with daubs of color. (Which is sometimes how I feel about my MMU...! Fingerpaints for grownups!!)
• I know that some folks don't feel all that comfortable wearing red eyeshadow - pinks maybe, but not red - but AxSDenied is not one to shy away from color. Her recent red-centric look is amazing and gorgeous! I've worn red eyeshadow, but not like this - with the heavier red above the light pink, it looks amazing. I may have to try something like this and see if I, with my heavy lids, can get it to work...
• Along with Himeykitty's blog launch, both Leanne at Do Not Refreeze and Cucumpear at Pandemoniun of Cosmetics both redesigned their blogs this past week! Winter doldrums, pah - we're all busting out the creativity.

I know that's a shorter list...but I'm trying not to include blogs that are part of either of the blog networks I'm a part of (because each week I tend to pick my favorite recent post of theirs, and link to that as well as the weekly roundup post). I also figure that by keeping the lists shorter, I won't overwhelm people and I'll be able to really spotlight folks.
