My Pretty Zombie’s 13 Sisters

I didn't think that I'd care for this color much, based on vendor photos. Once there was a good in-action/on-the-lid photo, though…I saw more of the metallic, and knew I had to pick this one up. This is almost an “oiled brass”. It looks like it might have been created for the original Elemental Lustres collection, which had more “tarnished” metallics than its successor Alchemie.

Application is very smooth, and there isn't a whole lot of “sooty” leave-behind - though one might think that there would be, with a color that presents like this one. It just applies very smoothly, and stays in place fairly well - though I get better results when I add a light mist of fixative spray.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.

I think that most cooler-toned folks may have some problems wearing this one, unless you either have red-to-auburn hair, blue eyes, or a “fuck it I liked Aged Orange metallic and I'm wearing it” attitude. (For me…two out of three.)
