I’ve been on a blue eyeshadow acquisition kick lately, so when I had the chance to get three cool colors I grabbed it. Or them. (Whatever.)
I’d describe these three shades as slightly muted jeweltones. They’re all blue-toned colors, and are all saturated metallic sparkles. You’ve heard and seen colors described as “blackened”? There appears to be (or there outright is) a layer of black underneath the red, or the gold, or the purple, or what have you? Well, these are all “blued.” When I was repotting these there was actually a lapis/cobalt residue left behind in the original pots. If you like blue eyeshadows, or glittery shadows, you need this.
This kit was released in fall 2011, and contains:
- Dissolution — purple/blue shimmer
- Forsaken — medium-deep saturated turquoise shimmer
- Infirmity — mossy green/blue shimmer
