I keep telling myself that I should do these news-posts on a semiregular basis. Then I remind myself that it's not always possible, because I don't always have a) time, or b) things to report. I also half-decided, years ago, that I would not become hugely obsessed with Fashion Week - whether in New York or London - and all the buzz surrounding it. I'm still not. Except for the nail colors created in collaboration with the designers because pretty.
I have nine of the ten colors from Sally Hansen's Fall 2013 NYFW collection that I'll be reviewing and swatching in the next two weeks. (I passed on Loden Green because it's just a bit too yellow for my preferences.) You can also take a look at the colors that will probably make up the Spring 2014 NYFW collection, on Sally Hansen's Facebook photo album. Prabal Gurung collaborates again with three pastels: A Wink of Pink, Lady Lavender, and Mint Condition. Tracy Reese's shades are saturated primary shades: Carnivale, Batbano Blue, and Mojito. Rodarte gets in on the game, too, with Clay and Cinnamon (either the wrong two polish bottles were placed for this photo, or these two shades look startlingly like Perfect Poppy and Malbec.)
Also on the way are the Peter Som and Zang Toi NYFW Spring collections that Zoya has released. (In addition to those and the Emily Leibert collection linked on the site's NYFW page, there is a Timo Weiland trio that includes two colors that are already part of the regular Zoya line.) Going by Zoya's past track record, I'd say that half of these colors will end up being added to Zoya's permanent line
