NYX Cosmetics’ Aphrodite Round Lipstick

I had a hard time finding good representative product pictures of this one. Finally, I just broke down and bought it. I thought it might be a lighter lavender-tan-ish thing that I could use under a Buxom lip polish to get it to a shade I'm comfortable wearing. When I applied it, though…the phrase that flitted through my mind was “femme-goth”. It's definitely a darker shade, not really a black or even a deep grey, but definitely a darker, greyed shade. It almost looks like the slightly darker lipcolor-cousin of China Glaze's Channelesque.

Honestly, I'm not quite sure how I'll wear this one. I may be able to wear it under Joy (I swear, that color is a magical shade, it works wonders) and get something that's closer to my personal style.
