NYX Cosmetics’ Dazed and Diffused Blurring Lipstick in Killin’ It

I thought this color would be a little cooler, possibly a little more mauved. It’s a…well, not brick red. Not terracotta red. It’s deeper, but not a “holiday” red. When I look at the cap’s color I think of a melon…but which one? (Maybe a watermelon, towards the rind, when it isn’t as bright as it is in the center where most of the water is?)

I have a hard time describing this one, but “cool red” it is not. I like the color, I can wear the color, but to get the color I thought it was would have been really, really, really nice.
