NYX Cosmetics’ Debutante Black Label Lipstick (180)

The tube makes this look like a screamingly bright color…but it applies very softly, almost sheer with a coral-gold shimmer. This is a good “debutante” color - something pretty for a sixteen-year-old being presented at her first major social event. (If such things were still commonplace, that is.)

This color is nice enough, and this has all the other benefits of Black Label lipsticks: it feels good to apply, it stays in place well, it doesn't feel greasy. It's just so dang sheer…! Some of my Burt's Bees shimmer balms have just as much color payoff, and they definitely hydrate (and even protect and heal) my lips.
