These lipsticks are pretty much what they say on the tin: sparkly. When I apply them, I see a quasi-metallic shimmer, not large chunks of glitter. These also stay in place better than the round lipsticks. The downside is that these lipsticks feel a bit dry (not drying…but dry.) It could be my over-sensitivity to texture, but these work as well for me and give me less discomfort if I apply a clear lip balm underneath. I own about ten of these, and I don’t know that I’ll get more simply because a) I’ve got all the colors I wanted; and b) while this formula is better than the Round Lipsticks in terms of longevity, but it isn’t my absolute favorite.
