Definitely coppery, but not so harsh that it looks orange. (Is it weird to say that something called “copper” isn't brassy? Because…well, that's appropriate here.) The color stays in place about as well as any of the Jumbo Lip Pencils, meaning that the color will come off on cup rims, and fade over time, and will require touch-ups. Unlike the Round Lipsticks, these don't have an overt chemical smell to them.
