Once again, NYX’s Department of Naming Things leaves me utterly confused. I get the “soft” part of this shade, but…“fuchsia?” Salmon-rose, tanned rose, rose-mauve, sure…but “fuchsia?” From whence did that come???
Despite the name, this color is in the general area of rose-neutral, and looks flattering on me. I get the most mileage out of this on everyday looks. This isn’t always easy to find - the shade means that it’s one of the colors that people make a run on. (When I saw it in person at a local store, I bought one…then went back the next day after swatching and bought two more.) I can’t confirm my theory, but I think that it will look equally flattering on warm-toned folks as well as neutral- and cool-undertones. I very much like the color, I just wish that NYX’s Jumbo Lip Pencils stayed put just a little bit longer. This is definitely a color where I’ll gladly sacrifice the ease of having this in pencil-form, to put all the product into a jar so that I won’t lose any when I sharpen the pencil.
