Applied wet, there's more gilding than the yellow base color. Applied dry, you definitely see more of the yellow. So this won't work as a highlighter shade for me. I have tried putting it over dark cream shadows to see if I can get an effect that I really like. No luck yet, but I'm going to continue trying.

Even though I haven't figured out the best way to use this color on me yet, I don't yet consider it a bad purchase. The price was most certainly good, it doesn't adhere any less well than any of the other colors in this collection (meaning that on my oily lids, if I don't wear a primer it will crease within the first 10 minutes,) and it does have an attractive finish that's almost a softened metallic shine. The specific shade, combined with my own coloring, might be the only reason that I end up not wearing this one much at all. (Then again, I might be able to get some good effects layering this over some of my deeper brown shadows. Oh, there's a thought…)
