NYX Cosmetics’ Yellow Gold Pearl

They call it a ‘pearl', but applied dry or wet, it's more of a pearl than a shimmer. (I don't know if the difference between a pearl and a shimmer finish eyeshadow is ‘particle size', but I'm going to go with it. NYX didn't grind their ingredients fine enough for a pearl finish…at least, not in this case.) The color is good, a little on the semisheer side when applied dry, but it isn't invisible. I'd say this is about on par with BE's Trophy Wife, but a little brighter and less of a sparkle factor. (And a lot less expensive.) It won't stay in place unless I use a primer; then, it stays about as well as most of my BE shadows.
