Oh wow, why didn’t I get this sooner…Bare Escentuals’ Gigi

Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When my BE order arrived with Sweet Obsessions, I also received Gigi. I had finally decided - what the heck, order it (and I needed to be pushed above $50 for the free shipping anyway.) It was an outer-sealed, sifterless jar, so that made me happy. The color looked pretty, so I was glad I'd finally ordered it. Then I actually wore the color.

Now I know why people had been lemming so hard for this color. It's gorgeous! Deep opalescent periwinkle, dark enough to be used as an accent color / crease color yet light enough to be used as an all-over shade. It really goes well with my eyes and overall coloration, too. Everyone who's been slightly afraid of this color because it's blue - go buy it. People who have wanted to add this color to their collections but haven't yet done so - go buy it. Folks just starting out with Bare Escentuals - go buy it (before they put it back in the vault and cause us all to howl disconsolately.) ...wow...
