OPI’s Color That Cannot Be Tamed

Unlike Sally Hansen's Lime Lights - another sheer green nail polish - this green doesn't have an iridescence to it, its green is softer, and the texture looks a bit rough. I like Lime Lights better. I'm not totally sure how I might use this polish, unless it's as a layering coat over my really deep dark greens or blues. Hm...I wonder how this would look over Zoya's Cynthia? Maybe I'll try that out. It might also serve as an interesting backdrop / base color, with darker colors - like Cynthia - used atop it in nail stamping. I got this on clearance at Sephora. The first bottle I purchased broke in transit, so I bought a second one. I probably shouldn't have bothered! Even after three coats, the color is very faint, and the VNL is pretty visible.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches
