OPI’s Glacier Bay Blues

When I saw the picture online, it looked like a brighter azure-navy shimmer. When I got the bottle, I thought, “Oh, yay, another purple-navy duochrome? Like Designer Series Magical or Lunar Eclipse? Nice enough, but I've already got two of those. I don't need another, not even if it's a creme finish instead of a microglitter.” Still, I gamely cleaned off my nails and applied the first coat.

First coat: semisheer teal. Dark teal, with possible hints at navy, but definitely teal - not “another navy” like I had originally feared. One coat was a bit too sheer to use by itself, but this was showing promise. Second coat deepened the teal to almost navy-teal, and showed the hints of both purple and deep green.
