OPI’s I Have a Herring Problem

The two blues in this collection (I Have a Herring Problem and I Don't Give a Rotterdam) are very very close…so close that you can't be blamed if you thought that they were the same color when you first saw them on the store shelf, or the display rack. Herring Problem is the slightly warmer of the two, with a dusty teal base coat and gold-microflakie shimmers. The polish applied very evenly and easily. I had even coverage at one coat, but not the color depth and opacity I wanted, so added the second coat. I don't know, but I suspect that because of the flakies in this polish, it wouldn't work well as a nail-stamping color.

I like this shade, but have an easier time wearing Zoya's Skylar or I Don't Give a Rotterdam, the other blue from this OPI collection.
