OPI’s It’s Totally Fort Worth It
  • Manufacturer: OPI
  • Availability: part of the Texas collection
  • Color Range: sheer silver-white pearl
  • Staying Power: 3 out of 4 stars
  • Cost/Amount: USD$9 for 14 ml / .5 fl oz
  • Would you purchase again: no
  • Similar shades:

A nice enough color…but not quite what I expected. There looked to be faint hints of purple duochrome in the bottle, but either it was a trick of the lighting, or the duochrome didn’t translate from bottle to nail. (That has happened with a few other colors…)

You can see where I gouged this manicure before I got a chance to photograph it. I was a little bit less graceful, though I think I didn’t allow enough dry time between the four coats required to get full opacity. Four coats and I don’t even get a hint of duochrome? Meh. The polish is nice enough if you’re looking for a sheer silver with no texture to the finish, but it’s not my thing.

Disappointing to me. I hate it when you think there will be a duochrome and you don’t see it on the nail.

Intensely disappointing! At least Fireflies has its duochrome, so even if it needs 4 coats for full opacity, there’s the duochrome.

Beauty Tip

Start using sunscreen and moisturizer long before you 'need' them - skin maintenance is better and easier than skin repair.
