OPI’s Skyfall collection

This collection was released as OPI’s 2012 winter holiday collection, because the timing worked to have this released during the Skyfall movie hoopla *and* be that year’s holiday release. I was originally interested in Goldeneye, The World Is Not Enough, and Live and Let Die. The others looked like some colors that I might like, and several reds (which is one way that OPI seems to break down some of their collections; six or seven colors that are all over the map and appeal to nail artists and folks who change their manicures every other day; and then several varieties of red, to appeal to the folks who aren’t comfortable (or aren’t able) to wear green, blue, or purple polish.

This collection contained:

  • Casino Royale — deep magenta-red creme
  • Die Another Day — metallic red-orange shimmer
  • Goldeneye — warm beaten-gold foil speckle
  • Live and Let Die — blue-spruce evergreen with gold microglitter
  • Moonraker — metallic blue-grey frost
  • On Her Majesty's Secret Service — blue-and-gold microglitter sparkle
  • Skyfall — medium-deep brick red creme
  • The Living Daylights — multicolored hexagonal glitter
  • The Spy Who Loved Me — bright red glass fleck
  • The World Is Not Enough — silvered taupe microglitter sparkle
  • Tomorrow Never Dies — metallic violet-blue shimmer
  • You Only Live Twice — raspberry-red glass fleck
