I really love this color of red. It's rich, it's not orange-ish, it's not bright or garish, but it's not dark or verging onto burgundy. It's -=red=-. The pigmentation level is great, and while it doesn't have tons of shimmer, it does have some. But mostly I love this for the color! I have many red eyeshadows. They range from pink-red to fuchsia-red to orange-red to brown-red to cabernet-red. Color payoff varies from semisheer to fully opaque. But trying to find precisely, exactly the shade I want isn't the easiest thing in the world.

And I finally found it!

...and of course, it was part of a limited-edition collection, and in addition the shop has closed down for the forseeable future. (Don't know if Persephone will open up in the future or not. I hope so - she had quite a few duotone and duochrome eyeshadows…)
