While these “glam” trios weren’t as thrilling or as solidly-performing as the regular-line Gel CreamLiner Trios, they were decent. You’re not going to find any other metallic-finish cream gel liners that perform as well as these do for this price point. That said, this set had the same colors as the later-released Smokey Nude Eyes liner trio: bronze, black, gold. The gold wasn’t a personal favorite, just because the color is relatively light; but it applies more smoothly than the metallic gold pencils that I own. And when I pair it with a dark liner, it’s very striking. The bronze is one that I have used often, and I like the effects that I get.

This particular trio isn’t the easiest one to find. None of the drugstores near me stock it, and drugstore.com doesn’t even carry it. They carry all the other trios, but not this one. So I’m glad that I grabbed it when I did. It isn’t my very favorite, but it does travel very well and gives me a good day’s wear, even if I do have to take a little more care with the initial application.
