Definitely softer shades…a medium-deep brown, a light brown, and a softer tan. I don’t know that I can really use the softer tan color for anything except maybe - MAYBE - as a “base” under darker powders, to define my eyes. I got this and the Smokey Eyes kit on a BOGOF, so while I’m not 100% thrilled with this particular set, I can get some use out of two of the shades and I effectively didn’t pay anything for this one. So things could be much worse. The quality is good, the price was excellent (even at full retail, it’s a good price), but the shades are not my overall favorite.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

Three eyeliners, swatched: Nude Tan, Nude Brown, and Nude Black

I vastly prefer the Custom Eyes Liner Trios from last year, in terms of color assortments. Or the Warm Nudes trio - though they’re a bit on the softer side, too, in terms of color payoff.
