Polish Me Silly’s Jam and Jelly

One of the three Thermal Pop polishes that I chose to get. It applies fairly smoothly, but it does require three coats for full coverage and maximum color saturation. The colorshift looks nicer on longer nails, but even with fairly short nails you can get a nicely visible colorchange at the very tip while the rest of the nail remains pink. The sparkle must be silver - it doesn’t change color with the polish, but it doesn’t look off against either the pink or the purple, so it’s got to be a neutral shade.

Close-up photo of the middle three fingernails of the left hand, showing 3 coats of Polish Me Silly's Jam and Jelly. The left hand holding a bottle of nail polish and displaying all manicured fingernails, with 3 coats of Polish Me Silly's Jam and Jellyn polish. Four fingers in a row, resting on the thumb, with all nails displaying 3 coats of Polish Me Silly's Jam and Jelly polish.

When this arrived, I wasn’t expecting the scattered sparkle. (I would have preferred straight cream-finish polishes, but…c’est la vie.) I wish that the polish was totally opaque after two coats instead of three, but again - that’s how it goes. About half of my other thermal polishes also require more than two coats, so this isn’t a shocking surprise.
